The votes are finally in! All classes voted for a class representative who will represent there grade in Student Council throughout the year. For grade 11 Hasan Babiker won. If you don’t already know about Hasan here’s some brief information. This is his fourth year at KAS. He has two siblings that both attend this school Lina (Grade 9), and Ruba (Grade 3). He was born in Georgia , later moved to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia and lived there for 3 years. Lastly, moved to Sudan. He enjoys watching TV, internet, playing sports, play station 3 like any other typical teenager. He says that prefers KAS over his older school, but there are some areas that could improve.
Some of the idea that he hopes to bring to student council is a united school instead of the high school and middle school always clashing He would like to demolish all of the school petty fights and bring the whole school together. Another suggestion he would like to bring to the student council is to have more sports implemented into the school for high school students. He would also like to establish annual trips for all of the high school students at the end of year for all of the students to be able to relax right before the summer vacation. One of Hasan’s main primary goal that he would like to launch have the voices of all of the students heard, whether you’re a 3rd grader or a senior at KAS.
